GREEN POWERED: HOW IT WORKS
For every Kilowatt of electricity our facility uses, we arrange to have the equivalent in 100% green electricity put back into the power grid. Since we cannot be powered directly by green energy, we partner with companies such as Bullfrog Power to put electricity from renewable energy sources (such as wind and low-impact hydro) back into the same power grid in which we draw power from.
CLEAN AND RENEWABLE: WIND ENERGY, LOW-IMPACT HYDRO
Basically, Bullfrog ensures the electricity going onto the grid on your behalf is from clean, renewable sources. Bullfrog’s electricity is sourced from a blend of wind and low-impact hydro power sourced from new renewable energy facilities.
For all of our products, we calculate the total electricity used over a product’s average lifespan. And for every unit we produce, 100% green electricity gets put back into the power grid on a monthly basis. For products that use rechargeable batteries, we use 100% green electricity when charging.
